Cheetahs are my favourite big cat and we were so lucky to see them in the wild in Tanzania a few years ago. It was a privilege to see these beautiful animals in their natural habitat. Sadly they are now classed as vulnerable with a population of only around 6,500. We have lots of photos from our trip but none quite close enough to be able to draw from so I turned to Pixabay to find a suitable image and I just loved this photo!
I care passionately about animal conservation and welfare. I'm a member of the Association of Animal Artists, and their chosen charity for 2025 is Wild Welfare (www.wildwelfare.org) who support captive wild animals around the globe. I will be making a donation of 10% to Wild Welfare from the sale of this drawing (and will obviously send confirmation of my donation).
