A lady friend for the vibrant male red cardinal! Their natural habitat is in woodlands, gardens, shrublands and wetlands - I wish they visited my garden in Hampshire! We have visited parts of America where they can be found, but weren't lucky enough to see them.
This is drawn on drafting film which allowed me to put a dark grey watercolour background behind the film to make the bird pop off the page. If preferred, a cream background could be used instead (please see photos).
This is also available sd a greetings card, along with the male red cardinal
