I painted this from a photo I took of an iris flowering in the garden a couple of years ago. We have really poor quality soil and it's never reappeared!
The first image is scanned and shows the most accurate colour representation (subject to the device on which you are viewing the image).
Paper: 300gsm Arches 100% Cotton Hot Pressed Paper (this paper has a smooth finish)
Paints: Winsor & Newton professional watercolour paints (these paints have a high pigment content and excellent lightfast qualities)
Mount: Off-white mount , very slightly textured
*Frame Size Required: 10" x 12"
*The frame in the photo is not included, it's just to give you an idea for framing
