I painted this from a photo I took whilst walking in Upper Farringdon, Hampshire (as soon as I saw it I knew I had to paint it and climbed up onto a wall to take the photo!). I really enjoyed painting this poppy!
The first image is scanned and shows the most accurate colour representation (subject to the device on which you're viewing the image)
Paper: 300gsm Arches 100% Cotton Hot Pressed Paper (this paper has a smooth finish)
Paints: Winsor & Newton professional watercolour paints (these paints have a high pigment content and excellent lightfast qualities)
Mount: Off-white mount , very slightly textured
*Frame Size Required: 10" x 12"
*The frame in the photo is not included, it's just to give you an idea for framing
This is also available as a greetings card.
